Meal Plans for Commuters
Commuting from off-campus? Theres a meal plan to keep you fueled, focused, and feeling connected. From full meal coverage to flexible options for busy days, students have a variety of plans to choose from.
Students living in on-campus housing are required to select one of the Housing Meal Plans - use this page for more information Housing Student Meal Plans - CSU - Bakersfield. This is an included component of living on campus in our residence halls.
Students living off campus are also invited and encouraged to purchase any of these Housing Meal Plansor explore the Metropolitan Flex Plans tailored for commuter lifestyles.

Commuters also have the option to purchase Dining Dollar-only plans, perfect for occasional meals, snacks, or coffee runs on campus.
Meal Plan Change Period
Students can make changes during the first two weeks of the semester. The final day to switch plans is Friday, September 8th. After this date, meal plans are locked in for the semester.
Use It or Lose It
All meal plans are non-refundable, and any unused meals will expire at the end of the semester. Be sure to make the most of your Dining Dollars. Unused Dining Dollars carry over from the Fall to Spring Semester but expire at the end of the academic year.
